The Endless Dreamers concept piece was inspired by the works of HP. Lovecraft, Neil Gaiman, & Sam Keith. The idea was to merge the mythos of Cthulhu & Sandman together. It begins as one of the infinite versions of the great old one, from outside of time and space, creating a fragment of itself to fill a void of a new universe...a new timeline. As the birth of this fragmented version of the great old one is released, all that is left behind are the skull, bones, & flesh. These mysterious artifacts would be safeguarded and eventually utilized by the new king of dreams, Morpheus. This idea inspired this one frame from a much longer story, a what if? tale.  One of an infinite amount of possible endless one origin stories that has yet to be told.
